The History of the J Michaels Business Trade Name
At a young age Michael DiPiano exhibited his passion for developing culinary skills. He and his best friend, Joseph (“Joey”) DuMouchel, both supported each others development as exceptional athletes and planned for the future joint working relationship at their own restaurant establishment. Tragically, in 2002, Joey’s life was cut short by a traffic accident occurring while traveling home. With many aspirations Michael continued to pursue their dream. He was mentored by many willing Chefs to show a young Michael the exciting world of food. Jonathan (“Jack”) Shroeder became one of many that offered his knowledge to Michael. Unfortunately in early 2003 Jack passed away suddenly. As an honor to the men that supported him, Michael has dedicated the “J” of JMichaels Catering, LLC. in memoriam as a reminder of the spirit and positive influence Joey and Jack had on him early in his development in the food service industry.

Roger DiPiano originated and sponsors his Community Partnership Program. As a result of this program, he provides his personal contribution in the amount of 10% of his net proceeds derived by his business operations to charitable causes.
